Bandits terrorize Washington Heights residents

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS

Police say the two men followed a 39-year-old woman to her apartment near West 178 Street and Pinehurst Avenue around 12:30 on the morning of Sunday, July 18.

They showed a gun and demanded that she open the door.

Once inside, the thugs ordered everyone into the living room, tied them together, and then demanded cash and jewelry.

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 30-35, approx. 5'7" to 6' tall,180 to 210 lbs, wearing a white polo shirt and dark pants.

The second suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 25-30, approx. 5'05" to 5'07",160 lbs, wearing dark shirt.

Police released video of the two men.
