Police in Manhattan search for bank robber

MANHATTAN

The first robbery happened on Wednesday, August 11th at 1:20 p.m. at the Chase Bank located at 615 8th Avenue.

Police say the suspect entered the location, passed a note demanding money to the bank teller, but did not receive any cash.

He ran away.

The second incident happened just about 10 minutes later at the Sovereign Bank at 260 W. 52 Street.

The suspect entered the location, verbally asked the bank teller for money, and this time, received an unknown amount of cash.

He fled the bank on a bicycle.

The suspect is a white man, about 35-40 years old, 5'10"-6'0" tall, 220-240 lbs, and was wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts, and was carrying a black messenger bag.
