Innocent bystander shot in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN

It happened at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at the crowded Brooklyn intersection.

A 58-year-old woman was shot in the leg while she was waiting for the B46 bus.

Police say she was an innocent bystander.

She was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

A 27-year-old man was also shot.

He was working inside the Pretty Girl clothing store at 290 Utica Avenue when he was hit, also in the leg.

He's in stable condition at Kings County Hospital as well.

Police do not know if he was the intended target of the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
