One woman was killed and two others injured early Sunday when an alleged drunken driver crashed into their car.

Paterson police say Roger Gallego, a 23-year-old city resident, is facing vehicular homicide charges.

The crash occurred around 3:15 a.m., when Gallego apparently ran a stop sign. Twenty-two-year-old Tiffany Robinson of Paterson, who was in the front seat of the vehicle Gallego hit, was ejected through a window and pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and another passenger in that vehicle were taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, where they were treated and released.

Gallego was being held on $100,000 bail at the Passaic County Jail. It was not immediately known if he had retained a lawyer.
