Three dead in single-car crash in New Jersey

Police in Warren County, New Jersey are investigating a crash that killed three men.

It happened on Knowlton Road near the intersection of Linaberry Road in Knowlton Township.

Their vehicle was found at 6:19 a.m.

Police said the preliminary investigation indicates the black 2010 Scion TC was traveling northbound when the driver, for unknown reasons, ran off the right side of the road into a downhill treeline.

The driver of the vehicle was wearing his seatbelt, although the other two passengers were unrestrained.

Investigators are still trying to determine when the accident occurred, but some evidence indicates it could have been around midnight.

The victims were pronounced dead the scene.

The driver was identified as Tomas Konik, 22, of Blairstown, New Jersey.

The passengers were Alan Ross, 22, of Blairstown and Ryan Keirnan, 21, of Knowlton, New Jersey.
