Nassau County looks to double red-light cams

A controversial plan is underway on Long Island to double the number of red light cameras at intersections across Nassau County.

The devices are not only catching red light runners, but they're also catching frightening collisions caused by dangerous drivers.

Fifty cameras went up in 2009, and the county just approved 50 more.

Their projected revenue this year is $47 million.
