Official seek help locating missing woman

NEW YORK

Helen Lam, who attends AHRC's Adult Program, has been missing since Tuesday afternoon.

Lam is a 24-year-old Chinese American, 5'2" or 5'3", has short black hair, approximately 155 pounds and wears oval shaped glasses.

She is diabetic and takes medication. She also takes psychotrophic medications.

Lam was last seen wearing light brown/beige pants and a light blue t-shirt and a dark green coat.

The last GPS contact on Tuesday at 3:40pm near West 4th Street Station on Jones Street.

She used her phone at 11:00 pm on Wednesday night (April 27). She said she had got off the train at 79th Street and that it was raining and she did not know where she was, officials said.

She comes from a Chinese-Cantonese speaking family. Officials said she understands English, although she is very quiet and speaks in short sentences. She rarely speaks to strangers.

She may have an AHRC New York City ID around her neck.

Officials said she loves McDonalds, loves looking at jewelry and makeup.

She was reported missing by family to the 7th Precinct in Manhattan.
