Lauren Willock is the fencing coach at the Dwight School she gets, a little extra help from two students senior Race Imboden and junior Julianna Barret.
"It's a strange feeling to be teaching it when for so many years, I've been the one learning," said Willock.
Race has learned quite a bit. He just came back from Amman, Jordan where he helped the United States Junior Team win the Gold Medal in fencing.
Now, he is a school celebrity.
"I got a lot of congratulations and surprise hugs from out of nowhere," said Race.
Juliana plays for the South African epee team, where her father is from, she's ranked third in that country.
At the /*Dwight School*/, kids learn from kindergarten on up.
Race and Julianna train many hours a week at fencing clubs in the city, but also enjoy volunteering.
"Fencing has been the thing for me that's opened doors, being able to share that with other people is the only thing I can do to give back," said the fencer. And in the process they learn a thing or two.
