/*Stagedoor Manor*/ is a summer camp where stars are born. The campers who attend have just two weeks to stage an entire musical.
Back home in Georgia, B.J. Myers is what's commonly called a "theater geek".
"Some people, they don't really accept me for who I am most of the time, but when I come to Stagedoor, I feel like I can be myself," said Myers.
Young people aged 10 to 18 call this a sanctuary, as well as a safe place to develop their talent.
Cindy Samuelson's late father opened Stagedoor Manor in 1975.
"It's not about being famous, it's about loving what you and having a dedication and a work ethic - being professional," Samuelson said.
"It felt like a shared endeavor, and I think that's how I've approached every single job. It's an ensemble effort, it's a community effort - and that's something that, that I really, I really learned at Stagedoor," said Howard.
