Police say the suspect, shown in the sketch above, approached a 13-year-old girl from behind yesterday morning near Park Lane South and Myrtle Avenue and placed his hand over her mouth.
The suspect allegedly then threw the girl to the ground and attempted to pull her shorts down.
The victim screamed and the suspect fled.
He is described as a white male with light brown facial hair between the ages of 30-35, approximately 5'10"-6'0" and 190-220 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, navy blue jacket and tan shorts.
