Apollo Theater holds amateur night auditions

It's the show that launched the careers of Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald and James Brown and on Saturday hundreds of talented hopefuls had a chance to show their stuff.

Fall auditions were held in Harlem for Apollo Theater's amateur night.

Each contestant had 90 seconds to try and impress the judges.

Hundreds of acts performed, including rappers, dancers and comedians.

Those who got picked will have a chance to perform live on stage during the show's upcoming season.
