Three candidates battled it out in an effort to be the next mayor of Westchester County's largest city.
Eyewitness News anchor Diana Williams moderated the debate and focused on fixing the city's financially strapped schools.
Republican John Murtagh and Independent Carlo Calvi said they support more charter schools, while Democrat Mike Spano disagreed.
The debate was sponsored by Yonkers Partners in Education.
Highlights of the debate will air on "Up Close" this Sunday morning at 11.
