A prominent New York lobbyist is expected to plead guilty Wednesday in the same corruption case that brought down State Senator Carl Kruger.

Kruger resigned from the senate two weeks ago and faces up to 50 years in prison when he is sentenced in April.

Lobbyist Richard Lipsky is accused of funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars to two shell companies linked to Kruger.
