Fellow firefighters and other mourners waited in the rain to attend the wake for Bruce Turcotte at a funeral home in Fords.
The 58-year-old volunteer firefighter suffered a heart attack while responding to a house fire in Woodbridge last Thursday.
Investigators say the fire was set by the homeowner, who died in the fire.
Turcotte will be buried on Wednesday.
