2 firefighters hurt battling fire on Long Island

Authorities on Long Island are investigating the cause of a house fire than injured two firefighters early Wednesday.

Investigators say the fire started inside the Islip Terrace home around 3 a.m.

The home, on Norwood Street, was quickly engulfed in flames.

Two fire fighters suffered burns while fighting the fire.

Their injuries are not life threatening.

No one else was hurt.
