Occupy Wall Street march in Lower Manhattan

NEW YORK

With the city's attention focused on the huge St. Patrick's Day Parade many blocks uptown, the Occupy rally at Zuccotti Park on Saturday drew a far smaller crowd than the demonstrations seen in the city when the movement was at its peak in the fall. A couple hundred people attended.

The marchers left the park at around 1 p.m., heading down Broadway carrying signs and a large Statue of Liberty puppet. Some chanted "Whose park? Our park." Demonstrator Connie Bartusis carried a sign that said "Regulate, regulate, regulate."

Later, the crowd returned to the plaza, which had been the protest movement's home until it was cleared of tents by police officers in November.

The demonstration was boisterous but there didn't appear to have been large-scale arrests or clashes with police.
