You might just be coming off vacation, but now just might be a great time to fly. Dealnews.com searches the skies for the best deals. They say look to Jet Blue, which offers historically low prices this month. But to save, you have to be flexible with your travel dates.
It's hard to believe, but back to school items are already discounted. That means you'll save green when you buy blue - jeans that is. Look for 40 percent off into October.
And the future's so bright, especially if you're looking for deals on a new pair of shades. The best sales on sunglasses are now, November and December.
If you're looking for a new iPhone - please hold on. A new one is expected to be announced next week, and already discounted prices on older models may go even lower.
One caution. Don't be enticed by Labor Day sales on HDTV's. Dealnews says if you can wait, the best deals on HDTVs will come in November.
Other discounted items this month include bedding, towels and, if there are any left, outdoor furniture and gardening items. For patio furniture, wait to purchase until October for rock bottom.
September also bring National Coffee Day. Mark your calendars for September 29th. Last year several outlets including 7-Eleven, Krispy Kreme and Waffle House offered free cups of joe!
