"It's the perfect combo of activity, which is a brain builder and a book that goes along," said Billy DiMichele, Creative Director at the Scholastic Store.
It's a double dose of fun, activity books, one for the budding fashion designer the other for the science minded kid.
Billy DiMichele showed Eyewitness News a bunch of other items, all focus on reading.
For curious toddlers, DiMichele recommends, "My Turtle and Me".
"There's a little nightlight on every page, it's great for bedtime reading and perfect for young parents and readers," DiMichele said.
The Twilight Turtle is the perfect companion toy, falling asleep in your room, under the stars, pretty cool, as is the Clifford Rocker, it's the big red dog's 50th birthday, perfect timing for the collection of six original titles from the 1960's.
From the hit series, "How Do Dinosaurs" there are two new books.
"Here you have these massive dinosaurs that typically you don't associate them with little kids and he's really brought them together so perfectly," DiMichele said.
Middle schoolers will be wowed by the trio, all New York Times best sellers.
The 9th installment of "Captain Underpants", yet another edition of "The Wimpy Kid" and the "Infinity Ring" series, which also has an on line component and follows in the footsteps of the wildly popular 39 Clues.
"It's really cool because it's about the travel and so the lead characters have to travel back in time to fix the past so that they save the future," DiMichele said.
Rounding out the batch there are "Raven Boys", "Endangered" and for Star Wars fans, an out of the world galactic pop up adventure.
Right now "Scholastic" is offering great discounts on certain items, and teachers get 50% off all books for the month of December.
