Image released of suspect in Laundromat robbery

The NYPD is on the hunt for a man in connection with a Laundromat robbery in Washington Heights.

Police released surveillance photos taken on January 13 in the Laundromat on St. Nicholas Avenue.

Authorities say a 66-year-old worker asked the roughly 16-year-old suspect to leave before the teen spit in his face.

A struggle ensued, and the suspect took the older man's wallet and ran off.

The victim did not sustain any serious injuries or require medical attention.

The suspect is described as male, black, approximately 16 years old, 5-foot-11, wearing a gray and red hooded sweatshirt.
