Federal authorities say Glafira Rosales of Sands Point sold prominent galleries what were billed as previously unknown works by Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning and other famous artists.
Newsday reports that Rosales sometimes claimed to represent an anonymous Swiss heir or a Spanish collector.
Rosales is scheduled for arraignment Friday in Manhattan.
Her attorney, Steven Kartagener, did not immediately return a call for comment on Thursday. He told Newsday in May that experts would still vouch for the art's authenticity.
