Authorities are looking for the two men seen walking near Hoe Avenue in the Foxhurst section.
Candido Fernandez, 48, was found just before 6 p.m. Friday night with a gunshot to the back of his head.
EMS transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police say one man was the shooter, but he passed the gun to the other man before they fled in different directions.
There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
