Fire rages through vacant building in the Bronx

Firefighters spent several hours battling a fire at a vacant house in the Bronx Monday morning.

The second-alarm fire started around 4:30 a.m. on Buchanan Place in the University Heights section and quickly spread to the first and second floors.

The FDNY reports there were 25 units and 106 firefighters on the scene.

No injuries were reported.
