EMTs charged with stealing from ambulance corps.

NEW YORK

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced the arrests Thursday.

Schneiderman says Daniel Dominguez was a board member and treasurer of the nonprofit Corona Community Volunteer Ambulance Corps when he stole more than $300,000 from its bank accounts and transferred the money into his own personal accounts.

He says the 37-year-old spent the money on trips to Walt Disney World and Niagara Falls.

He says board members Daryl Aveda and David Moretti also made unauthorized transfers of the ambulance corps' money.

An attorney for Dominguez did not respond to a request for comment. Aveda was being held on bail and unavailable for comment. Moretti's attorney was not immediately known.
