Close to a deal?

October 14, 2013

We're hearing the deal would continue government funding through mid January – so the debate would be a long way from over and the debt ceiling would be raised until Feb. 7.

There are some other bits and pieces of course, but that's the gist. Obamacare would be left intact. We're waiting for word from Washington, and we'll have the latest, tonight at 11.

Also at 11, the search continues for the teenager with autism, missing for 10 days in Queens. Divers went into the East River again; autistic kids often are attracted to water, and the river is close to the school in Long Island City where he walked out, without anyone stopping him.

And we're following election news – the special election on Wednesday to fill the U.S. Senate spot in New Jersey, and our debate tomorrow night in the race for Mayor of New York. That at 7 p.m. on Channel 7, or streaming live on our website, 7Online.Com.

We'll also have any breaking news of the night, plus Meteorologist Lee Goldberg's AccuWeather forecast, and Rob Powers with the night's sports. I hope you can join Sade Baderinwa and me, tonight at 11.
