50-year old Ulesses Andrade was arrested Saturday night in Mount Sinai. Police say he took off after stabbing a 24-year old man.
The stabbing took place at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday. It took investigators several hours to find the suspect.
The victim is being treated at Stony Brook University Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The incident appears to have stemmed from an argument between a tenant and a landlord.
