At 1:49 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call of an unconscious person inside of the Saint Nicholas Houses at 240 West 129 Street on the 6th floor.
They found the woman unconscious and unresponsive, with gunshot wounds to her torso and a laceration to the face.
EMS transported the victim to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
So far there are no arrests. The woman's identity has not yet been released.
