The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office says deputies stopped 46-year-old Michael Graubard's vehicle for an equipment violation around 3 p.m. Tuesday on Route 22 in the town of Amenia, on the Connecticut border 60 miles southeast of Albany.
Police say a search of his vehicle revealed five packages of pot weighing a combined 114 pounds and about $8,600 in cash.
The Stockbridge, Mass., resident was charged with criminal possession of marijuana. He's being held Wednesday in the county jail on $20,000 bail.
