Brooklyn burglar caught on video cashing in lotto tickets in Queens

BROOKLYN

Now, they are releasing surveillance video they hope will lead to an arrest.

The incident happened back on March 22 around 11:30 p.m. at the deli on Reid Avenue. The suspect entered the establishment after it was closed and stole lottery tickets, calling cards, cigarettes, a laptop and $8,000 in cash.

He was caught on camera the following morning cashing in lottery tickets at another store on Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
