A massive five-alarm fire is under control after it broke out at a warehouse on Crows Mill Road in Woodbridge Friday.

The fire started around 9:15 p.m. Friday at Bayshore Recycling on 19 Crows Mill Road. Thick, black smoke was billowing out of the building, as the fire was fed by a ruptured gas line. Flames could be seen shooting from the roof of the building from miles away.

Fire boats from the FDNY and Perth Amboy Fire Department responded to help fight the fire from the Raritan River. The New York City Fire Department confirms that one of its fire boats was still assisting at the scene Saturday.

The blaze is in an industrial area, so there are no evacuations necessary. All the businesses in the area were closed when the fire started.

No injuries were immediately reported.
