PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- In just a matter of minutes, two emergency vehicles got stuck in the snow in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.
Eyewitness News reported Lucy Yang says Good Samaritans immediately came to the rescue.
An ambulance on 8th Ave. was also dug out by more Good Samaritans.
"I was shoveling the walk, and I saw it was down the block, and I was worried about the neighbor down there, so when I saw it stuck I thought I should do what I could to get it out," said the Good Samaritan.
The ambulance was reportedly trying to make a turn and just started sliding down the hill when it buried itself in the snowbank.
An emergency travel ban remains in effect in New York City.
