New York's Department of Investigation says the EMT fondled the female patient and touched her inappropriately on her back last December inside an ambulance.
The EMT was awaiting arraignment Thursday evening. If convicted he could face up to three months in jail.
The EMT has been with the Fire Department of New York since 2000. He has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the case.
