Brush fire along side N.J. Turnpike

NEW JERSEY The fire broke out in the brush near Route 280 and Harrison Avenue just before 10 a.m..

No injuries were immediately reported.

NJ Transit reported 10 to 15 minute delays on the Northeast Corridor, the North Jersey Coast Line and Midtown Direct trains.

Traffic on Route 508 in Kearny and westbound Route 280 was affected by the blaze.
