Breastfeeding and cancer risk

NEW YORK Researchers at the University of Wisconsin interviewed more than 2,000 woman as part of the study. They found women who were breast fed were 17 percent less likely to have breast cancer.

There was one anomoly in the study. Researchers found first-born women were just as likely to develop breast cancer regardless of whether they were breast fed.
