We are currently investigating a report by a student observing two students with a gun in the boys' lavatory at around 8:50 a.m. The situation is calm, the Nassau County Police and the Sheriff's department have responded and are on site and are in control of the investigation. Phone calls into the school at this time will impede the progress of the investigation at hand. We will provide further updates as the situation warrants. Thank you.
