Bus and police car collide in NJ

NEW JERSEY The collision between a Coach USA bus packed with commuters and a police car sent an officer and nearly a half dozen passengers to the hospital.

NewsCopter7 was over the scene of the accident on Freeway Drive in Orange.

Officials say the officer was responding to an emergency call when the bus crashed into the cruiser, trapping the officer inside.

The officer and five bus passengers were treated for minor injuries.
