Police this morning have completed their investigation of an overnight accident involving a motorcycle.
It happened around 3:00 this morning -- just before Exit 21.
The driver of the motorcycle was fatally injured in the accident.
All lanes on the westbound side have been reopened on the Southern State in Nassau County at Exit 22. Traffic is back to normal.
