Sketch of violent mugger released

NEW YORK Authorities say he targets mostly women. In each case, he approaches the victim, punches him or her and then flees with personal property.

The first incident occurred on April 4, when he attacked a 29-year-old woman at 4:20 a.m. on Columbus Avenue and West 92nd Street.

The next victim was a 41-year-old woman at 650 West End Avenue just before 6 p.m. on April 16.

On May 8, he reportedly attacked a 32-year-woman at 292 West 92nd Street at just after 7 p.m. and a 36-year-old woman on Central Park West and West 81st Street 25 minutes later.

His one male victim was a 48-year-old man at 2 a.m. On 7th Avenue and West 110th Street two days later.

He also robbed a 61-year-old woman at 2792 Broadway just before midnight on June 17 and a 49-year-old woman on West 91st Street two days after that.

He is described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 35, approximately 5-foot-6 to 6-feet tall and weighing 150 to 180 pounds. He is light-skinned with a medium build.
