Rescuers pulled one of the 16-year-old girls from the water.
She was taken to Peninsula Hospital where she was treated and released.
Coast Guard dive teams continued searching for the missing teen in a five-mile-wide area off of Rockaway Beach. The search was suspended around 7:30 p.m.
The search for the other teen will resume in morning.
