The mother's boyfriend was not charged.
The baby and her mother were visiting the boyfriend at the country club on Sept. 9, where he worked and lived when the little girl was injured, according to police.
The couple took the baby to the hospital in a taxi. She died Saturday at the Westchester Medical Center after being removed from life support equipment.
A preliminary autopsy report from the Westchester Medical Examiner's Office reportedly indicated that baby showed signs of blunt head trauma and shaken baby syndrome.
