Bronx district attorney spokesman Steven Reed says DNA testing showed that Matias' 14-year-old daughter Ana was pregnant with his child when she was killed in February 2008.
Last week, Matias was found fit to stand trial on charges of strangling the girl. He has pleaded not guilty in the killing.
