Newsday reports the MTA may pull all of its $40 milllion in funding for the bus line.
That's up to one-third of the money it needs to operate.
The paper reports that 104,000 people who ride Long Island Bus every day would be stranded.
The proposal is just one of a laundry list of possible cuts by the MTA.
