Ever wonder how cookbooks and magazines make food look so good?

The Institute of Culinary Education is usually where people go to become chefs, but the institute is now serving up something entirely different by offering a workshop class on how to make food look good in print.

A wrinkly chicken may be tasty, but it's hardly photogenic. When you see a good food picture, it's less about the cooking and more about the styling.

The workshop is not a photography class, it is a food marketing class, which is a great fit for Kristen Hess who has a food blog.

"It's sort of cooking, but cooking for the camera," she says.

The workshop is also great for those looking to take their career in a different direction.
