The /*fire*/ started in the building at 2111 Jerome Ave. in the /*Tremont*/ section of the /*Bronx*/ around 11:00 Friday morning
The fire went to three alarms before firefighters gainned the upper hand.
The 4 subway line was running express for a short time as the tracks run right next to the building.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
