Police released a sketch of the suspect wanted for attacking a woman early Sunday morning in the Springfield Gardens section.
Police say the suspect pushed the victim to the ground, punched her in the face and attempted to rape her.
He took off when a neighbor heard the woman scream.
The police commissioner revealed the number of sexual attacks is up 14% this year.
