Man rescued after Brooklyn scaffolding collapse

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn

The officers were on foot patrol in Crown Heights when they heard a loud noise.

It turned out to be the scaffolding collapsing so Officer Stephen Manucci and Sgt. Troy Luis ran to see what happened.

When they arrived, they saw a man dangling approximately 40 feet in the air.

The two officers ran up to a 3rd floor apartment on Rogers Avenue where they were able to pull the man to safety.
