New York Archbishop and Cardinal-Elect Timothy Dolan will make a nine-day trip to Israel.

Dolan will lead 50 priests from the archdiocese on a tour of the holiest sites in Jerusalem.

The trip was reportedly planned months before Dolan got the news of his elevation.

But even though it's a whirlwind time for him, he decided to go ahead with the journey.

He leaves next week.
