A mother is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She's accused of abandoning her 9-year-old daughter while she gambled at the Resorts World Casino in Queens.

Police say 41-year-old Carol Granderson went to the casino with her daughter at 9 am on Saturday morning.

After about an hour, someone noticed the young girl walking around the second floor gift shop alone, and figured something wasn't quite right.

The girl told that person she was left in the gift shop alone, and after police were called, Granderson was arrested on the casino floor.

The 9-year-old is now staying with family members.
