Police say Shania Foley, 16, contacted relatives from an undisclosed location in Pennsylvania saying that she wanted to come home.
It does not appear that Foley was ever in any danger. Upon her return to New Jersey she was turned over to the state Department of Children and Families.
Foley was listed as an 11th grade student at Linden High School.
