Missing 12-year-old autistic Queens boy found in Brooklyn

A 12-year-old autistic boy who went missing in Queens early Thursday morning has been found safe.

Authorities say Brandon Betancourt was located waiting for a J train at the Broadway Junction station in Brooklyn. Prior, he had last been seen leaving his home on 66th Road around 7 a.m.

He is Hispanic and is described as being 5-foot-4 and weighing 105 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a gray Northface jacket, blue pants with a yellow stripe on both legs and a black knit hat.
