Police in Paterson say officers were flagged down around 7 p.m. Saturday by a man on a motorcycle.
He was with a 16-year old boy who had suffered a gunshot wound to the back.
The two were riding the motorycle near North 3rd Street and Jefferson Street when they heard a popping sound. They then pulled over and discovered that one of them had been shot.
The victim was taken away by ambulance. So far there are no arrests and the investigation is continuing.
